Sacraments of Initiation

Infant Baptism
Baptisms of children under the age of 7 are celebrated monthly following a preparation program for parents and godparents of candidates. Please contact Marlena Gates at 714-639-2900 x212 or mgates@hfcathedral.org at least two months in advance of enrollment.

Adult Initiation
For those adults inquiring about initiation and community with the Catholic Church, please contact Carmela Treanor at 714-639-2900 ext. 241 or ctreanor@hfcathedral.org.

Sacrament of Matrimony

Couples desirous of celebrating their wedding in the Cathedral should contact the Cathedral House for an appointment with one of the priests at least five months prior to marriage. At least one member of the engaged couple must be a registered parishioner for one year prior to the wedding date.

Sacrament of the Sick

In the event of a serious illness of a medical emergency, the Office for Ministry to the Sick and Homebound (ext. 140) of Cathedral House should be contacted immediately so that the Sacraments of the Church may be celebrated.

Celebration of Christian Funerals

At the death of a loved one, kindly notify the Cathedral House at your earliest convenience so that the dates and times for the Funeral Liturgy may be arranged.

Eucharistic Adoration

On the second Tuesday of each month we gather in prayer and praise before the Blessed Sacrament. The diocesan intention is that of an increase of vocations to the priesthood and the religious life.
