Who We Are:
We are a group of men and women dedicated to bring Christ to our
grieving brothers and sisters. We give them guidance in planning
and coping with the spiritual aspects of death. By providing a
listening ear, an open heart, a hug, or just our being there,
we bring presence of Christ and His Church to a hurting friend.
We are just like you! We are parishioners,
fathers, mothers, and grandparents. We are young and old, working
and retired. We are loving Catholics bringing our faith alive,
sharing our love and talents with friends in time of need.
What we do:
- Call/visit the family at the time of death
- Assist by offering the family various options of participation
in the Vigil and the Funeral Mass
- Coordinate plans with family, lectors, music ministers, and
funeral directors
- Attend the Vigil
- Assist at the Funeral
- Preside at the Cemetery
- Make follow up phone calls
- Organize the Memorial Mass
- Attend monthly meetings
We Offer:
- On going training
- Loving support from caring co-ministers
- The opportunity to help others
- The chance to share your God-given talents with those in need
