wide repertoire of music performed in unison or parts and
accompanied by a number of instruments, many played by the

masses, programs and activities, at the Diocesan Choral Festival,
and at monthly Sunday Liturgies. Mrs. Toni Dhuyvetter brings her
love for music, her skills in directing and teaching children, and
her extensive knowledge of liturgy and choral music of all genres
to her work with these dedicated and talented young people. All

Center for Organ Study and Performance
is a venue unique to our parish. This center offers children the
opportunity to begin studies in piano and organ in a welcoming yet
challenging environment. The student organists participate in
Sunday liturgies once a month. They play the organ solos for
prelude, communion meditation, and postlude music. The age
range of students is from 5 to 14. The younger children
concentrate their studies on authentic organ music written for
keyboard only, while the older children are learning organ music
for manuals (keyboard) only and manuals plus pedal. Organ study
and performance and study is a new area in the Holy Family
Cathedral Music Ministry. It provides the opportunity for
Cathedral Parish children to study the rich musical heritage of
organ music in the Roman Catholic Church.
