Overview:

The students create a variety of art based on the elements and principles of art. They will learn about the lives and inspiration of a variety of artists. The students will learn to communicate ideas and feelings through many techniques. Students focus on element, technique, style and design principles.

Special Events:

• School-wide Art Fair: Each student will choose one or two pieces of work to be displayed in the school hall.
• Orange County Fair: Each student will have an opportunity to select one or two pieces of work to enter into the Fair for the 2006 summer exhibit.
