Overview:

Open Court is the basic reading text for 1st grade. It includes reading, phonics, writing and spelling. Scott Foresman math covers addition, subtraction, shapes and logic, money, time and measurement. Our science curriculum covers the human body, the earth and its layers, planets and nutrition. In social studies, we introduce maps, ecology, community, natural resources and holidays. Our religion program covers the rosary, prayers, the miracles of Jesus, Advent, Lent and the Blessed Mother.
