Overview:

Our Third Grade students are busy learning new things each day. In Religion class we are discussing the dynamics of our Catholic faith community, our roles as faithful followers of Christ, as well as, learning more about the life of Jesus.

Our Language Arts studies are focusing on reading, comprehension and recognizing basic elements of a story. Telling time and understanding place value are the Math lessons we are working on before we step up to multiplication and division skills later this year. In Science class we are learning about photosynthesis. In Social Studies we are exploring the continents and oceans. Our students are eagerly learning cursive handwriting. The Third Grade classrooms are full of activity everyday.

Special Events:

The Third Grade is preparing the liturgy for the Mass on November 30. We are looking forward to a festive time around Halloween and to our annual pumpkin decorating contest.
