Overview:
In Religion the students will study the Sacraments, Liturgical Year, The Marks of the Church, learn about Scripture through the use of the Bible, Family Life, and The Heart Room (meditative prayer).

In English, The students will learn various types of creative writing. Grammar skills will be taught through the creative writing process.

In Reading , the students will use the anthology, Fast as the Wind.  They will read the following novels: The Cay, Bridge to Terabithia and From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler.

The students are responsible for a computer generated reading test program. Each book has a certain point value and they are assigned a new point value each trimester.

In Spelling the students will use the fifth grade curriculum text.

In Math the students will use the fifth grade curriculum text.
