Overview:

The focus of our Kindergarten is on the spiritual, social, intellectual, emotional and physical development of each individual child. Several of the academic concepts that we will cover during the year are letter/sound recognition, journal writing, numbers, shapes, patterns, reading/sight words and addition. A thematic approach is used to teach new concepts. A combination of whole and small groups is used to teach these concepts. Religion is taught daily. Kindergarten attends Mass once a month with their 8th grade buddies.
