The Chorister's Children's Choir:
The Chorister's Children's Choir is made up of
school and parish students in grades 3 - 8. Through weekly rehearsals,
these students are exposed to a wide repertoire of music performed
in unison or parts and accompanied by a number of instruments,
many played by the children themselves. The Children's Choir performs
at school masses, programs and activities, at the Diocesan Choral
Festival and at monthly Sunday Liturgies. Mrs. Toni Dhuyvetter
brings her love for music, her skills in directing and teaching
children, and her extensive knowledge of liturgy and choral music
of all genres to her work with these dedicated and talented young
people. All school and parish students are welcomed to participate
in this vital ministry to the church and the school community.
Rehearsals for the choir are every Tuesday afternoon
from 3:00 - 4:15 for the Holy Family School children and from
4:30 - 5:30 for all other parish children.
