Overview:

  • 6th grade - Earth Science, including the layers of the earth, volcanos, earthquakes, the atmosphere and weather.
  • 7th grade - Life Science, including cell biology, the five kingdoms of life on earth and plant and animal anatomy.
  • 8th grade - Physical Science, including force and motion, Newton's laws, aerodynamics and simple concepts of physics. 8th grade also studies Human Reproduction.

Special Events:

  • 6th grade - Outdoor education trip presented by the Orange County Marine Institute
  • 7th grade - Seaworld sleepover trip
  • 8th grade - Making and launching bottle rockets

*All grades participate in the school science fair. The top 15 winners compete at the Orange County Science and Engineering Fair.
