Holy Family Cathedral School has a staff of fifty
three dedicated employees. The school has eighteen classroom teachers
and five specialty teachers that include computer, library, music,
physical education and study skills. Two full-time resource teachers
give support to students with special learning needs. There are
thirteen classroom aides. Grades kindergarten through second,
library, and resource have full-time aides. Grades three through
eight have part time aides. The faculty is primarily Roman Catholic,
comprised of lay teachers and one sister from the Order of St.
Francis in Iowa. Teachers are qualified and credentialed. Seven
teachers have Masters degrees and several are in Masters programs.
Through the annual budget and fund raising, the school provides
for individual teacher enrichment.
The teaching faculty is supported by clerical and maintenance
staff. These employees provide vital service in the business of
running a school. Secretarial help supports the administration
in accounting and parent contact. The maintenance workers keep
up the appearance and safety of the physical plant. In coordination
with the Pastor and with financial assistance from the parish,
major maintenance and upgrades to the physical plant are made
regularly.
